This guide will show how to create a news feed in iamproperty CRM. A News feed will show in any portal, (All Branches, Landlord, Vendor, Tenant and Applicant) that is enabled and can display any information required.
Getting started
To create a new News Feed in iamproperty CRM.
From the iamproperty CRM Control Centre, click on the ‘Configuration’ tile. To find ‘Control Centre’, click on the ‘My Account’ then from the drop down list select ‘Control Centre’ then select ‘Configuration’ from the list.
From the ‘Configuration’ menu click on the option for ‘News Feed’ and you will see this screen.
Click on the ‘Add News Item’ button.
Create a News Feed
Give the item a title, a date and select who the News Feed will be available to, the options here are All Branches, Landlord, Vendor, Tenant, Applicant.
The body text can be typed directly to the text box, pasted from another source or a link pasted for the viewer to click through to a longer document. Pictures can also be added as can source code.
Once complete click ‘Save’ to return the News Feed home screen.
Publish the News Feed
Any unpublished content will be marked with ‘*There are unpublished changes’.
You can edit the news item from here by clicking on the pencil icon, or delete by clicking on X.
Once happy with the content, click on the ‘Publish Changes’ button.
The news feed is then available through all the selected Portals .
The News will display in full when a user logs into their account.
