Estate agents have a legal obligation under the Money Laundering Regulations to retain customer due diligence records, including AML checks and related documentation, for at least five years after the end of the business relationship.
For this reason, movebutler cannot process account or data deletion requests directly from clients, as doing so could prevent your estate agent from meeting their legal record-keeping obligations.
If your estate agent determines that your data can be deleted, they will contact us on your behalf to arrange this where appropriate.
