Before assuming the Land Registry information is incorrect, first check that you have searched for the correct property address. Similar addresses, properties with the same name, or neighbouring properties can sometimes be selected in error.
If you have confirmed that the correct property has been selected, the information shown on the Land Registry Title Register or Title Plan may still be out of date or incorrect. This can happen if ownership has recently changed, an application is still being processed by HM Land Registry, or the register has not yet been updated.
