In the majority of cases, if Movebutler cannot locate and provide the Title Register for download, or you receive a "No title number has been identified" message, the cause is the way the property address has been entered.
This is most commonly seen with:
- Apartments or flats within a building.
- Properties with suffixes such as A, B, or C (e.g. 100A, 100B).
To improve your search results, try searching using only the main building number and postcode.
Example 1 – Property with a suffix
If you are searching for:
61A, Longslow Road, Market Drayton, Shropshire, TF9 3BP.
Enter:
- Building Name / Number:
61 - Postcode:
TF9 3BP
This will return all matching properties at number 61 (e.g. 61, 61A, 61B), allowing you to select the correct Title Register.
Example 2 – Apartment or flat
If you are searching for:
Apartment 20, The Turnbull, Queens Lane, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1NA
Enter:
- Building Name / Number:
20 - Postcode:
NE1 1NA
This will display all properties registered at number 20, from which you can select the correct apartment or flat.
