Getting started
Follow the link on the email sent to you by your Estate Agent. This will have a user name and an option to set a password. Click the link and create your own password. This will give you access to the Contractor Portal.
How Do I Get My Jobs?
You will receive an email from the Agent managing the Property via Property Management. There are 2 emails you may see.
If you are successful securing a job that was offered to you, the ‘assigned’ email will be sent to confirm this.
Contractor Portal
Once logged into the Contractor Portal, you will see this screen.
The top right of the screen allows you to log out, change password, user details. Also the notification ’Bell’ icon that shows there are new tasks or notifications.
Live Jobs; Shows you all the jobs you have assigned to you via Property Management.
Offers; shows all the jobs offered to your via Property Management.
Feedback Centre; shows you any feedback.
Live Jobs
Shows a list of all the jobs that have been assigned (allocated) to you. Click on to the specific job to view it.
There are 2 different views, a tile view and a list view.
Offers
These are jobs that have been offered to you and other contractors. Offered jobs have a timescale for a response and may require a quotation to be supplied.
Offered Job; If this job has been offered to you it will look slightly different than an assigned job.
You need to ‘Reply’ to an offered job and accept or reject the offer.
When accepting the job, if a quote has been requested you will be asked to upload it here as well as note your earliest start date. If no quote is required you will be asked the earliest start date.
Once you have accepted the job and uploaded a quote the Property Manager will allocate the job to the Contractor that best meets their requirements.
You will be notified by email if the job is assigned to you. You will also receive an email if you are unsuccessful.
Managing the Jobs
Once the job has been allocated to you it will show in the ‘Live Jobs’ screen. To view the details of that job, click onto the property name.
This will open up to the details of the job you have been asked to complete.
The description of the job, as well as the details for the Tenant (if shared) will be visible. You also have the ability to message the Agent through this screen. Feedback and Invoice are not available yet.
Click to mark the job as live (not required).
Once the job is completed, click to mark the job as ‘Completed’ you will then have the option to add your Invoice and any feedback on the job.
To add your invoice, click onto the invoice button. In the next screen, add your invoice, invoice number, date and amount and click add. Doing this will help speed up your payments for the work.
Feedback
Click the feedback button to leave feedback on the job as a whole. Was the Tenant easy to contact, was the issue caused by the Tenant etc., pictures can be added. This information can be helpful for the Agent during reviews of the tenancy.
