What's the difference between the online checks?

Below is a brief overview of the different types of online checks available:

• A PEP & Sanctions Check will simplify verify whether your client is a PEP and if they are on the UK Financial Sanctions List.
• Full Electronic Confirmation will carry out a full identity check, using extensive databases and open sources of information.
• The Biometric Online ID Verification (BOIDV) allows you to send your client an invitation to carry out a full biometric identity and verification check including facial recognition, data verification and document authentication to confirm identity and proof of address. This can be useful for medium and high-risk situations and when you are unable to meet with the client in person.
