AML checks are carried out using credits. Credits are purchased in bundles, with the cost per check depending on the credit bundle you have selected.
Each time a digital check is completed, the appropriate number of credits will be deducted from your available balance. Larger credit bundles generally offer a lower cost per credit, making them a more cost-effective option for organisations carrying out higher volumes of checks.

Please note that credits expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Any unused credits remaining after this period will expire.
For in-platform checks, credits are deducted immediately when the check is performed.
For Digital Onboarding and Online Biometric ID Verification invites, credits are not deducted when the invitation is sent. Instead, the required credits are deducted when the client begins the verification process.
For this reason, it is important to monitor your available credit balance. While the system will allow you to send invitations, clients will only be able to start their checks if you have sufficient credits available at that time.
Example
If you have 30 credits remaining and send three Digital Onboarding invitations, each requiring 15 credits:
- All three invitations will be sent successfully.
- The first two clients to begin the process will consume the available 30 credits.
- The third client will be unable to start their verification and will receive an "Error Cred" message.
To avoid delays for your clients, we recommend maintaining a sufficient credit balance, particularly when sending invitations in bulk.
