An International Client Search is an enhanced in-platform AML check designed for clients who live overseas and are unable to complete a Digital Onboarding or Online Biometric ID Verification.
The search verifies the client's identity by validating the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) on their passport, confirms that the individual is not recorded as deceased, and checks the client against the Politically Exposed Person (PEP) register and the UK Financial Sanctions List.
An International Client Search cannot verify an overseas residential address.
