In some cases, a client may be flagged as “not living at the address” after completing an Online Biometric Verification or a Full Electronic Confirmation. When this occurs, the Address and Date of Birth (DOB) section will be marked as “Action Required.”
This result usually indicates that the individual has moved address and the electoral register has not yet been updated, or the update has not fully propagated across our supplier data sources. In most cases, this result will appear alongside an electoral register match, as the individual may technically still be listed at the address.
We recommend treating this result as an indication that the individual may currently be in the process of updating their address on the electoral register. As such, you should request additional proof of address, such as a utility bill, council tax bill, or bank statement, to confirm their current residence.
