Introduction
The ‘Advertise?’ button affects whether the property is available to upload to portals. The process is the same for Sales and Lettings.
N.B. Advertise? should only be switched on once you are 100% certain that all of the relevant marketing information and media has been correctly completed (and approved by the landlord/vendor if required). If this is not the case, when a portal upload takes place, the incomplete listing will be uploaded to the selected portals.
Getting started
From the property record, in the left-hand menu, scroll down and select Marketing.
Scroll down in the Marketing section of the record to the Property advertising section, click on the ‘Advertise?’ button and it will then appear with a blue outline.
Click on the ‘Save’ button (bottom-right).
This will allow you access to the Portals tab in the left menu. In here select the Portals you wish to exclude from the upload, if required. Either select the ‘Upload to All’ option or individually upload each portal. This will upload ONLY this property. Click ‘Save'.
Uploading to Portals
To upload all new or updated properties to the Portals.
In the Portals section of the property record, ensure you’ve excluded any portals as appropriate (as above).
If you wish to market the property discretely (offline), then exclude all portals.
In the Navbar-secondary, select Lettings (or Sales), General, Upload to portals.
Select the Branches whose properties you would like to upload.
Select Sales or Lettings or both (depending on what your Onboarding Specialist has agreed with you).
‘Include’ the relevant portals on the right-hand-side of the page as required (remember to scroll down of required) and click on the ‘Upload To Portals’ button.
You’ll receive confirmation as each portal upload is successful.
You’ll see either a green clickable tick which will take you via the portal’s log in to the listing if the upload is successful, or if it fails, a red circle with a white ‘X’. Click on the ‘!’ Error details button to view the error message and code, which will either give you the information you need to correct your listing or settings, or allow you to share this with our support team so they can help.
Batch Reports
In the Navbar-secondary, select Lettings (or Sales), Reports, then Batch reports.
Scroll to the right of the columns you are shown, and click on the ‘View Batch’ button to view the report.
If an upload has failed, click on the ‘View Error’ button to see the error code which you can share with our support team if required.
