A Property Register Search (PRS) uses our Land Registry integration to identify the registered owner(s) of a property. The search will confirm whether the property is owned by a sole proprietor or jointly owned by multiple individuals.
This information helps you determine whether you need to identify, verify, and complete a risk assessment for more than one vendor as part of your AML obligations.
A PRS is not essential if you have already obtained and reviewed an up-to-date copy of the property's title register, as this contains the same ownership information and allows you to identify all registered vendors.
