What is Safe Harbour?
Safe Harbour is a Standard created by HM Land Registry which permits law firm services to verify a client’s identity using electronic identity verification technology subject to specific requirements; most notably dictating that the document authenticated is a passport and that the authentication method is via NFC chip read.
